Your First Visit

At our first meeting, we will ask you questions to find out what you want and need for excellent oral health. We will perform a very thorough examination of your teeth, gums, jaw and bite. We will address any cosmetic issues and perform an oral cancer screening using the most modern early detection technology. We will also examine all existing fillings and other restorations to evaluate whether or not they are doing their job properly and meeting your needs.

You will see the doctor and/or the hygienist on your first day to assess all of the areas mentioned above. If x-rays are needed they will be done that day as well. We are proud that we use the newest technology in x-ray, Digital X-Ray. The advantage to the patent is speed, and more importantly, safety. Digital x-ray reduces the amount of radiation by an astounding eighty percent! We are one of the few offices currently offering this service. We do so in an effort to provide our patients with the most modern techniques in dentistry. We will teach you as much as you would like to know about preventive care and good oral hygiene. This approach will keep your mouth and overall health the best that it can be.

We will then, with your input, offer you any needed, or desired, services. We understand that your time is valuable and we will respect it. We will be on time and accomplish as much as possible to minimize multiple visits.
